Return of the king

(I wrote this on Thursday, 21st September,  4am in the morning. Has some repetition but I decided to post anyway.)

The return was fast and painless as opposed to the journey to the other side. I am writing this post sitting at the dubai airport waiting further four hours for my flight. It all started this morning when I was expecting the worst already because I had no prepration for the next day. I had planned to do some hands-on excercises for the students but ultimately I knew that I did not have much information to convey. It was five in the morning when zz got up and was feeling very sick. He told me about it. Then suddenly he ran for the toilet and was vomiting all over the place. After some painful bouts, he came to rest. Telling me that he cannot take the class of today. That made me even more uncomfortable because I didnt even have my own situation under control that another was coming for me.

I was now in the class with no prepration and only the knowledge of the horror stories related to that group. Luckily, I had to bring all the students and teachers togather, which I think, changed the environment of the class to some extent. As I started the topic, they started hitting me with their cross questions as usual. But after a few answers, they knew that I knew what I was talking about. Then, instead of destablizing me with their questions they started to listen to what I was saying and were paying attention. This was the turning point. After that we were a happy bunch of people, posing for group photos.

The conclusion with students was good as well and that was the real reward for my five days effort. It has ended well at last. After all the stressful afternoons and jubiliant evenings. The roller-coaster ride has finally ended. Now I dont have to worry about being somewhere where I shoudnt be.

We have to head back now. We left important work back home and now we have to take care of it. Lets take care of it. I am sitting at the dubai airport in transit, waiting to get back home, waiting to get back to my life which I am not afraid to live.

Concluded.
