How to get into a big company

Looking to get into Microsoft or Google or any other major company of your liking? It turns out that there is another way. Its not a backdoor and you dont have to sneak in. Just make a great product using their technology and you are in. I read about these two individual recently who got in like that and that got me interested.

So, the first guy is Rick Brewster who developed a freeware paint application in .Net (its a great software though) and where is he now? you guessed it right Microsoft. The second such person I read about was Ori Allon. He was a Phd student at University of New South Wales, Australia, while he developed a new text search algorithm that makes searches more relevant and could also be used to show excerpts of the matches. Some excerpts from the article where I read this:

Mr Allon, a 26-year-old computer scientist, was born in Israel but came to study at Melbourne's Monash University in the '90s. After completing his bachelor and masters degrees, he moved to UNSW to further his studies and research.
The Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz reported on Sunday that Google had acquired Mr Allon's advanced text search algorithm.
Mr Andrew Stead, the business development manager at UNSW's NewSouth Innovations agency confirmed that Mr Allon left Australia six weeks ago and was now working at Google's headquarters at Mountain View, California.
So you would like to work at Microsoft or Google too? I think you know what to do now.
